day

- Meet at 9:00 am at the Esf Le Tour.
- Safety is an absolute priority, so we'll do a quick check-up before the start to prepare your route, snow conditions, weather and Arva test.
- Warm-up to reach the Vallorcine side of the slopes. Les Esserts chairlift. At the top, 20-minute walk to Téte de Balme.
- After a break with a 360° view, we'll explore the various couloirs on the north face of l'Arolette, from the easiest to slopes of up to 45°.
- Return to the Essert lift via the Catognes mountain pastures and the forest of the Jeurs commune (Switzerland).
- Lunch at l'Arret Bougnette, a typical restaurant in Vallorcine station, or Casse Croute (to be decided in advance).
- Afternoon, couloir de la Vormaine, a magnificent cirque offering south, west and north-facing slopes. Steep slopes in a wild setting. Only a short approach walk. Approx. 15 mins.
